community book sale
Thank you to all of those that have donated books to our cause, however, we are no longer taking donations. In the meantime don't hesitate to visit us at the southland mall and buy some books! We will be selling the books for low affordable prices at The Spot on June 17th and 18th from 10 am to 6 pm. All proceeds go towards hosting future events for the community.
We will also have authors reading and selling their books on site! Come see Counios and Gane authors of The Shepherd and Wolfe Mysteries. They will be there promoting and selling their books from 4-8 pm on Friday.
On Saturday, Author Judy Bird will be selling, reading and promoting her books from 11 am to 1 pm and author Deana Driver of the Flight books, and Fun On The Farm will be doing readings, signings, and selling from 2 pm - 6 pm. Deana's readings will be happening at 2:30, 3:30, 4:30, and 5:30.
Come down to Realtors Park on Thursday, June 23rd for our Summer Launch from 5 pm to 7 pm. Enjoy our hotdog barbecue, scavenger hunt, and many more exciting activities.
We have a total of seven movie nights planned for this summer. Don't miss out on the summer fun and check out more information on movie nights below:
The Summer Market is back in 2022! It will take place on August 13 and 14th from 10 am to 5 pm on both days at the South Leisure Center in Regina. For full details on the vendors and all things market-related, visit our website below!
We invite you to come join us at beautiful Wascana Park on Monday, August 15th for Monday Funday in the Park. Open to all ages.
The event will feature buskers, local music alongside cultural teachings and so much more! In addition to these, we have an event called "Ride like the Queen" which is a horse ride activity celebrating the Queen Jubilee (pre-book tickets is the best way to ensure your family gets to participate). In fact, the Queen's monument on a horse at the legislature is a depiction from her visit to Regina in the late 20th century!
We'd like to thank the Government of Canada for supporting this event and helping us in celebrating the Queen Jubilee with horse rides and fireworks! The day will end with a sweet 14 minute firework show programmed to music starting at 9:30pm in Wascana Park.
For more information, visit www.WascanaWinterFest.ca. The event is hosted by Wascana Winter Festival as a mid-way to winter celebration!
